Executive Summary
This research project is part of a doctoral thesis compiled from publications within the City, Territory, and Habitat research line of the Doctoral Program in Architecture at the University of Seville. The research aims to characterize the Andean urban landscape through the historical and cartographic analysis of water systems in order to construct a heritage management model that integrates ancestral knowledge from the Andean worldview in a site declared a heritage site, such as the city of Cuenca (Ecuador).
