Executive Summary
Due to the need to have information and intelligent assistance services for our students, teachers and administrators, it is proposed to implement version II of the UDABot social robot. To this end, the creation of a new robotic platform with dimensions more suitable for interaction with people and movement within the campus is proposed.
The UDABot social robot will have autonomous navigation, sound localization, animations that accompany communication and the integration of camera(s) with facial recognition for better interaction. The robot will have improved services from those implemented in version I: information for students and the general public of the University of Azuay, and Speechbot services with information from ChatGPT. In addition, an immersive environment will be implemented on Facebook, Instagram and virtual reality viewer, which recognizes UDABot and generates specialized content. The results will be presented through the social robot UDABot.
